Dear Photograph, a powerful and moving site

Never have I been so moved by a site. It made me cry, made me smile - so captivating, it will be difficult to tear yourself away from your computer screen.

The concept behind Dear Photograph is brilliant, yet so simple with powerful and moving results though. Taylor Jones came up with the idea for people to find an old snapshot, return to the spot, hold up the pic and take a new snap - then add a heartfelt note. One year later; a book, millions of visitors, hundreds of photographs (and also their stories). Dear Photograph has taken off beyond Taylor's beliefs, and affected and spoke to so many people.

I am warning you, before you visit the site have tissues handy, some of the stories had me in tears, yet others brought a smile to my face. Dear Photograph is great site by a man whose idea has helped many to re-visit, remind and re-discover fond memories of people, places and occasions.

Whether it makes you cry, smile, hug a loved one or even go on a hunt for old snaps - I hope you got something out of Dear Photograph as well.
