The Impossible; true story of a family that survived the 2004 tsunami
I remember reading about The Impossible quite a while ago and made a mental note to follow the development of the movie - and of course see the movie.
The Impossible stars Naomi Watts (a favourite) and also Ewan McGregor (another favourite) and tell the true story of a family that survived the horrific 2004 tsunami; the deadliest natural disaster in recorded history, killing 230 000 people in 14 countries.
The trailer alone is enough to leave one emotional and sad, I guess it's inevitable with a story taking place in the middle of the most horrific of natural disasters.
Although no amount of money can replace the lives lost, it is comforting that over $14 Billion in humanitarian aid was raised.
